Overview 

The classic Speedmaster Professional runs three subdials; the 311.90.44.51.03.001 runs two. That structural difference is not cosmetic: the bicompax layout has distinct historical roots in Swiss chronograph design, and the Two Counters presents it with the Calibre 9300, a Co-Axial movement that departs significantly from the Moonwatch's manually wound lever escapement. For a buyer who knows the Speedmaster range, this is the reference that reflects Omega's broader movement engineering rather than its most established product.

The case is 44mm, larger than the Moonwatch's 42mm, with the bicompax dial layout positioning the running seconds and 12-hour counter horizontally across the dial. The absence of a third subdial opens up the dial surface and improves legibility relative to the three-counter layout; the composition reads cleaner and less cluttered at the cost of the three-counter's visual symmetry.

The movement is Calibre 9300, Omega's automatic Co-Axial chronograph with a 60-hour power reserve and COSC certification. The Co-Axial escapement reduces friction at the escapement wheel, extending service intervals and maintaining accuracy more consistently between services than a conventional lever escapement.
