Overview 

Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional is part of Omega's most iconic watches. Its popularity stems from its heritage in six lunar missions.

This version of the Moonwatch was released in 2013 and is coined the Tintin (after the famous Belgian comic character). It has a unique red & white racing motif on its dial - which is alike the design of the rocket in which Tintin famously goes to the Moon (refer to Adventures of Tintin - Destination Moon). 

There are stories that the original design featured a Tintin rocket on the dial - which were later scrapped because of issues between Omega & Tintin's publisher. 

In any case, the Omega Speedmaster Tintin has been gaining popularity and recently has been pretty hard to come by, especially prestine condition ones.There are estimations that total production is around one to two thousand pieces made, as the Tintin reference was discontinued after 2 years of production.

The Moonwatch Tintin is discontinued and no longer produced.
