Overview 

The Rolex Datejust 31mm reference 278274 in this configuration — white gold fluted bezel, pink dial, 10 diamond markers — is the most requested version of the 31mm in the Malaysian market, and has been consistently for several years.

The 31mm Oystersteel case carries an 18k white gold fluted bezel, which diffracts light differently from the polished surfaces around it. The dial is pink, set with 10 brilliant-cut diamond hour markers in place of indices. Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock over the date. The combination of white gold and pink reads cool rather than warm — closer to platinum in tone than yellow gold, which is why it pairs as readily with white jewellery as it does with gold.

The movement is the Calibre 2236, Rolex's current-generation automatic for the 31mm Datejust. It incorporates a Syloxi silicon hairspring — non-magnetic and thermally stable — with a 55-hour power reserve. Certified as a Superlative Chronometer to ±2 seconds per day. Paired with the steel Jubilee bracelet.
