Rolex Submariner Date Green 126610LV MK1 2022 [Preowned]

Overview 

When Rolex introduced the Submariner Date 126610LV in 2020, early production examples — MK1 — carried a noticeably deeper, more saturated green on the Cerachrom bezel than later production units. The MK1's forest green sits closer to the original aluminum-bezel 16610LV ("Kermit") in tone; the MK2's lighter reading is closer to jade. That distinction matters in the secondary market, they attract a different collector.

The case is 41mm Oystersteel — updated from the 40mm of the previous 116610 generation, with slimmer lug geometry that makes the 41mm wear closer to its stated size than the case dimension suggests. The green Cerachrom bezel carries a 60-minute scale with platinum-coated engravings; ceramic construction means no UV fading and practical scratch resistance. The black dial carries Chromalight-filled indices and Mercedes hands, with a date window at 3 o'clock under the Cyclops lens. The Oyster bracelet uses Rolex's Glidelock extension — 20mm of tool-free adjustment, practical across a full day or over a wetsuit.

The Calibre 3235 is Rolex's current-generation automatic — 70-hour power reserve, Chronergy escapement, Parachrom hairspring, certified as a Superlative Chronometer to ±2 seconds per day. Water resistance is 300 metres. The specification is consistent across the current Submariner Date range.

Within the 126610LV secondary market, MK1 designation is the primary variable after condition — demand for the deeper green has remained consistent. Against the 126610LN in black, the 126610LV carries its value on the colour story; against the discontinued 116610LV ("Hulk") with its green dial, the Starbucks positions as the more legible and versatile daily configuration. We see this example as one of the cleaner MK1 acquisitions at current pricing: excellent condition, complete set, early production papers.
